Lifebeat Hero: Sean “Diddy” Combs

Diddy”, has been a longtime supporter of Lifebeat and a true HIV/AIDS activist. He has lent his talents and support to many Lifebeat events and fundraisers.
In 2001, he co-Chaired Lifebeat’s UrbanAID 2 concert featuring Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, The Roots and more. He also performed at the event, including a duet with Busta Rhymes. He also mobilized the services of Bad Boy Artists and other celebrities to produce a series of HIV/AIDS Public Service Announcements.
In 2004, Combs hosted the Bad Boy Takeover event for the Hearts & Voices Concert Series, featuring Bad Boy artists Carl Thomas, Loon, 8 Ball and MJG and Mario Winans.
Combs continues to support Lifebeat by regularly attending Lifebeat’s fundraising events including Live Beats 1 and 2, and by donating items to our Bid 2 Beat AIDS auctions.
