LIVE BEATS honoring BET’s Stephen Hill

LIFEbeat honored long time board member and BET executive Stephen Hill with LIVE BEATS: Musical Mayhem and Tonal Terror Fashioned by Fun(k). Diddy, Missy Elliott, Ashanti, Fat Joe, DJ Grandmaster Flash and a house full of music and entertainment industry executives cheered on Mr. Hill as he performed pop hits with a 12-piece band under the direction of Mark Batson. LIFEbeat Board Member Denise Rich took the stage with her own rendition of “Brown Sugar” by The Rolling Stones and Kathy Sledge with the girls from Epiphany brought the crowd to their feet with “We Are Family”. The incomparable Mary J Blige headlined the event, closing with an unforgettable duet with the night’s honoree.
