NATIONAL GAY MEN’S HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAY (NGMHAAD) is SEPTEMBER 27^th

A recent CDC study found that one in five (19%) Men who have Sex with Men [MSM] in 21 major US cities were infected with HIV, and nearly half (44%) were unaware of their infection. In addition to using condoms and discussing a partner’s status, the key to reducing HIV transmission rates is getting tested. Because early referral to medical care can help prevent HIV transmission, while reducing a person’s risk for HIV-related illness and death.
