Panic at the Disco and the Plain White T's took the stage and rocked the house the night before the MTV Video Music Awards at a special event to celebrate the launch of the much-anticipated Rock Band 2 video game.  Held at the House of Blues Sunset Strip in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 6, 2008, the event was a fundraiser for LIFEbeat to help fund HIV/AIDS prevention programs.

In addition to the main stage, several Rock Band 2 stages were set up throughout the club, where virtual rockstars got to play the real thing. Looking on from the VIP section were a host of celebs including Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson, Fonsworth Bentley, Buckcherry's James Todd and actor James Woods.
