<p>In 1999, he <strong>donated $100,000</strong> to Lifebeat, raised by adding a 25-cent surcharge to ticket prices to the <em>All Rod&#8230; All Night</em> tour.</p>
<p>In 2004, Rod again supported Lifebeat with a <strong>donation of proceeds</strong> from his <em>Great American Songbook</em> tour.</p>

<p>In 2001, he co-Chaired Lifebeat&#8217;s <strong>UrbanAID 2</strong> concert featuring <strong>Alicia Keys</strong>, <strong>Jay-Z</strong>, <strong>The Roots</strong> and more. He also performed at the event, including a duet with <strong>Busta Rhymes. </strong>He also mobilized the services of Bad Boy Artists and other celebrities to produce a series of HIV/AIDS Public Service Announcements.<strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p>In 2004, Combs hosted the <strong>Bad Boy Takeover</strong> event for the Hearts &amp; Voices Concert Series, featuring Bad Boy artists <strong>Carl Thomas</strong>, <strong>Loon</strong>, <strong>8 Ball and MJG</strong> and <strong>Mario Winans.</strong></p>
<p>Combs continues to support Lifebeat by regularly attending Lifebeat&#8217;s fundraising events including <strong>Live Beats 1 and 2</strong>, and by donating items to our <strong>Bid 2 Beat AIDS</strong> auctions.</p>
